Light at the End of the Tunnel!

Well, today, Saturday October 13, 2012, the septic tank got dug! Yay! Also, G-Man started working on the living room ceiling this morning, but ran our of scrap sheet rock for the prep strips. Being that the house is 100+ years old we have to do some unique things to get the house in livable order. For instance, the living room ceiling has hand cut wood and the slats have some gaps. So to prevent 100+ year old dirt and dust sifting through we are covering part of it up. I will post pictures once we get is done and what I am describing will make more since :). Since he ran out of the strips, he started working on the dinning room. This way he would get some scrap sheet rock for the living room which will be used to attach the panel to the ceiling. There is still a good bit to go, but we are making progress.
